Star Ruby from Sri Lanka Cabochon 10.6ct

Sri Lankan star rubies are among so of the rarest and most sought after gems in the world. The most valuable star stones  their stars in the centre of the stone  with straight arms of equal intensity which this stone has. It also has a beautiful background colour. Not only are these rubies rare but it is also very unusual to find one of this size.

Sarah has travelled extensively through Sri Lanka and was lucky to find one of these stones.
