Needles Blue Agate Cabochon 33ct

Needles blue is a gem silica chalcedony that comes from the Blue Danube Mine near Lake Havasu. Its blue colouring comes from the copper minerals, where the agate has filled in the cracks of its rhyolitic host stone.

This stone is now considered to be very rare and is only seen in old collections. We have a very small amount of this material and none with this amount of blue chalcedony.
