Chiapas Mexican Amber is found in the Chiapas region of southern Mexico.
As the oldest gemstone, amber is well-known for it's golden and orange hues, but even amongst ambers, the colour and beauty of Chiapas is considered unique.
Chiapas is formed from the resin of extinct tree species that lived between 20 and 30 million years ago.
This example was sourced by Sarah from Mexico, is beautiful dark honey tones, and is pre-drilled.
