Josephine's Crown Cabochon 52.6ct

This Material comes form Grant's Pass, Oregon. It was found very deep in the ground near the gold and silver mines. It is no longer being mined therefore making it highly desirable to collectors. This material is now extremely hard to come by.

It is a type of quartz with pyrite and chalcopyrite. It is said that there can sometimes be trace amounts of platinum, gold, copper and silver in Josephine's Crown. We've never known a stone to contain such a rare combination of minerals. It truly is a beautiful and interesting stone.
