Gary Green Larsonite Cabochon 42.8ct

Gary Green Larsonite is petrified bog wood found only in the McDermitt area on the border of Nevada and Oregon.

Thought to be anywhere between 11 and 15 million years old, it was first discovered and mined in the 70s by Gary McIntosh and Ray Larson and is becoming increasingly hard to find.

The rich green and blue hues typical of Larsonite showcase the preserved woodgrains within the gem.
